Privacy Policy

Modern Cue Club MCC Inc. ("Modern Cue Club", "we", "us") operates moderncueclub.ca. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. We keep it deliberately simple: we collect as little as possible, and we never sell your information.

What we collect

• Waitlist details. When you join the waitlist we collect your email address and, if you choose to share it, your name — along with your consent to receive email from us.
• Payment details. Founding membership payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers; we receive only confirmation of the purchase and the contact details you provide at checkout.
• Usage data. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Vercel Analytics) to understand aggregate traffic — pages viewed, country, device type. It does not identify you personally and does not track you across other sites.

How we use it

• To email you about the club's opening, founding memberships, and club news — only with your consent.
• To deliver what you purchase and provide support.
• To understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Unsubscribing takes effect promptly and we won't email you again.

Where it lives

Waitlist entries are stored with Supabase and the site is hosted on Vercel; both are reputable providers that may process data outside of Canada. Payments are handled by Stripe. We share your information with no one else, and we never sell it.

How long we keep it

We keep waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept as long as required for accounting and legal obligations.

Your rights

Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and BC's Personal Information Protection Act), you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email info@moderncueclub.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be announced by email to the waitlist.
